Special Issue Supplement: Service Enhancement Evaluation Initiative
Summer 2010

The Canadian Journal of Mental Health will be offering a Special Issue Supplement to its subscribers in 2010 in addition to the usual spring and fall issues of the journal. This Special Issue Supplement will provide an opportunity for scholarly dissemination of results emerging from the Service Enhancement Evaluation Initiative (SEEI).
The SEEI is a research initiative funded by the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care and intended to assess the impact of significant new funding to the community mental health system in Ontario over four years beginning in 2004. Specifically, the research focused on the impact at the system level and on innovative programs across Ontario in the areas of early intervention, crisis response, court support, and mental health case management.
Dr. Janet Durbin
, Scientist with the Health Systems Research and Consulting Unit at the Centre for Addictions and Mental Health, and Dr. Lindsey George, Head of the Mental Health Rehabilitation Service at St. Joseph's Healthcare in Hamilton, are serving as the Guest Editors for the issue.
The projected date for the e-publication of the Special Issue Supplement on the MetaPress hosting site is in the summer months of 2010.
