The Family Navigation Project: An innovation in working with families to match mental health services with their youth's needs

Abstract

The Family Navigation Project provides an innovative navigation service that supports families who are struggling with navigating the complex youth mental health and addictions system. Navigators engage one-on-one with families to help them access timely and specialized care for youth experiencing mental health or addictions concerns.

Résumé

Le Projet de Navigation Familial offre un service innovateur de soutien aux familles devant naviguer à travers le système complexe des services de santé mentale et de toxicomanie pour la jeunesse. Les Navigateurs rencontrent individuellement chaque famille afin de les aider à accéder rapidement aux soins spécialisés en santé mentale ou en toxicomanie pour les jeunes, selon leurs besoins.
